FEEDING GOD'S PEOPLE - NEXT FRIDAY (NOV. 15th)
Some of you know, and some of you might not...but the sandwiches we make every 3rd Friday of the Month go to the St. Vincent dePaul Society in East St. Louis. It's those small things that make us the Light for others!

THE GREATNESS OF GIVING π
CRASH COURSE AND THE VLOG BROTHERS
For individuals who know John and Hank Green, you know of their entertaining style of presentation while at the same time providing great informational. Their videos are on YouTube and called Crash Courses which were always interesting dives into various subjects whether it be history, literature, science, etc.
The brothers have since moved on to other projects but the style and formats of Crash Course are still very much alive on YouTube.
Recently, I discovered a Crash Course on Study Skills. I did watch the first video (which is linked below) as well as Crash Course #1: Note-Taking. These 2 videos might be more geared to our middle school students, but I will continue to watch them and post. It's always good for students to be introduced to good study habits early!

AGRICULTURE IN THE CLASSROOM π
Mrs. Barttelbort's 3rd Grade Classroom:
Mrs. Lexi Birritier from the St. Clair and Randolph County Farm Bureu came to 3rd grade yesterday to experiment to see what keeps apples from turning brown when cut. They also read a book about Johnny Appleseed and sampled apple slices. Very cool real-world experiences.
Mrs. Birritier is coming in once a month for the remainer of the year to do cool ag-related science projects!
PICTURE RETAKE DAY πΈ
Thanks to Kim Satterfield for helping coordinate the day. Just an FYI....If you are looking for an email from the photographer, it appears that many emails are going to families' spam folder.
Still can't find anything....just give us a call!
