Rountree Report
October 29, 2015
Humor is important!
Another dimension of going green
Take care of yourself this weekend!
You survived! Almost:)
You have almost made it through a full moon, Halloween, a relocation drill, and Parent Teacher conferences. Whew! I am tired just looking at the list. You have a well deserved extended weekend on the way! I hope you will have time to rest and recharge.
- Dr. Jungmann will be here tomorrow from 1:30-2:30. He will be visiting regular classrooms and specialty classrooms. He is interested in what we want to celebrate at Rountree and what support we continue to need. Please email me some of your celebrations you would like for me to highlight as well as any needs you would like communicated.
- Spelling Bee--I have not had much response. How do you feel? Now is your chance to speak up.
- Transitional transfers--Students in the 5th grade can begin applying for transitional transfers November 2nd. Students can fill out the application online for the school they wish to go to. If they want to go to their home school they don't need to do anything.
- Don't forget you still have time to nominate a colleague for teacher of the month! I will draw a name tomorrow afternoon.
- Fridays will now become Spirit Days. Please encourage students to wear their class t-shirts or a similar color shirt on Fridays. We will give out feathers to classes wearing their class color. Let's start this next Friday.
The week at a glance below is a live link to the ishare calendar for your convenience.
We will have a staff meeting November 10. Please feel free to wear jeans all week next week as a reward for all of your hard work this week!
