St. Patrick Catholic School Families,
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:12-13).
As we reflect on the completion of another school year, we can look at all that has been accomplished, give thanks for the blessings provided by the St. Patrick Catholic School community and look forward to new beginnings. Thank you to our volunteers and supporters that have made this year a success. With the academic year complete I’m sure everyone is excited for the summer ahead. The school board wishes our students and staff a safe and relaxing summer.
For our 8th grade class and some staff members this closes a chapter on their journey as they are moving on to their next adventure. We are thankful for everything that each has contributed to our school and are confident that our graduating students are well prepared for the future. Although summer has just begun, we continue to plan and look forward to the new year that will begin in August. Our returning students will be joined by new students and new staff, and there will be much excitement and joy.
Here are some recent updates from the school board:
- School safety improvements will continue during the summer with the installation of new cameras and upgrades to entry doors with key fobs.
- The new playground surface will be installed in June. Cheers to no more black marks on shoes!
- Please welcome our new staff members for next school year: Anna Krumwiede in Kindergarten, Katie Rodden in 1st/2nd Grade, Sydney Morris in 3rd/4th Grade, Natalie Julin-McCleary as School Counselor and Carrie Ugrin as Interventionalist
- School board elections are complete with Lisa Ahern, Ryan Occena and Emily Paxton returning for a 2nd term. We will also be welcoming Natalie Deery as a newly elected board member this summer.
- Laura Schaefer will be joining the CVCS school board as our St. Patrick representative. We would like to thank Bill Rhomberg for his service in this role over the past several years.
Reminder: Our school board meets on the last Thursday of each month at 6pm in the Parish Commons. Please know that parents are always welcome to attend!
