5. Do you have WALK ME?
Whether you are new or returning to a K12 Managed Public school, WalkMe does not need to be installed on a school provided computer. For new staff, the WalkMe extension is imaged on the school provided computer. For returning staff, the WalkMe extension was remotely installed in June onto three browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge). Staff members may have missed the initial installation if the school provided computer was offline during the initial install. The script to install continues to run daily.
The manual installation of the WalkMe extension is only required for instances when staff are using a personal computer.
Having trouble accessing WalkMe?
- Restart the computer and relaunch the browser to insure successful one time installation of the browser extension. The WalkMe widget should now be available from within the OLS.
- If WalkMe is still not available in the OLS in a teacher account after restart, please submit a ticket to the Regional IT Help Desk at: K12RIT.COM
