Mid-Term Break
A reminder that our mid-term break is next week. We will close on Friday, 3rd May at the normal time of 1.30 / 2.30 p.m.
School will be closed from Monday 6th - Friday, 10th May. We will re-open on Monday 13th May at 8.50 a.m. Enjoy the break when it comes!
Global Citizenship Video
Please have a look at the excellent video made by some of our wonderful children outlining just some of the fabulous learning done in our school about the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. It has been submitted to 'Global Citizenship School' for their One-Minute-Video initiative - 'What we did for the world - Turning Learning into Action'.
Maths Open Session for Families - this Wednesday
Don't forget! We are inviting all parents/carers to join us this Wednesday 1st May for a fun Maths session in your child's class. We will play some games and have lots of fun. The games will be prepared for you and the teachers will show you what you need to do. You can even bring them home to play afterwards. We look forward to seeing lots of you there.
Football Team News
Our boys' football team had another match on Friday. Have a look at this brilliant goal from Ruben in 6th Class!
Poetry Ireland Visit
We were delighted to welcome Poetry Ireland's 'Poet in Residence' Anne Tannam to our school for some poetry workshops on Thursday. Click below to watch a video of the children taking part:

Yoga Group for Parents/Carers
A new yoga parents' group is starting soon. It will be on a Wednesday morning from 10-11am in the Macro Resource Centre. It is starting next Wednesday 10th May and will run till the 29th of May. There are eight places left available.
If you are interested please speak to our Home-School-Community-Liaison (HSCL) teacher Kate - places will be given on a first come first served basis.

Dublin City Council's flagship Bike Week event, Pedalpalooza Bike Festival, is returning again this year on Sunday 12th May, 12.00hrs - 16.0hrs, Fairview Park, Dublin 3. A FREE day of family fun, jam-packed from start to finish with great music, bike-related arts & crafts, exciting demonstrations. Check out the main stage throughout the day for an entertaining mix of Irish music, magic and comedy for all ages, with performances from Magic Marta, Frankie Magilligan and Clontarf Ukelele to name but a few.
