WELCOME TO LEARNING PERIOD #4
We are past the halfway point of the Fall Semester and are getting ready to head into the holiday season this learning period. Remember that our Fall Semester ends before we leave for Winter Break from December 21- January 7 and return for the Spring Semester on January 8th. What does your weekly academic & enrichment schedule look like in your home? Check out a weekly schedule sample HERE to see if this can be a supportive tool for helping your student finish the semester strong (see image). Also, if you need any academic support please reach out to your teacher so we can get you help. Please take some time to review the agenda so you come prepared to collaborate with your teacher on your student's learning plan.

Academic Integrity
Academic Integrity
Our school urges students to conduct themselves ethically and honorably. It is expected that the grade a student earns is based on work the student has completed. Teachers can use Grammarly or other plagiarism checker websites.
Please watch the Academic Integrity Video & complete the SURVEY for all students. Thank you.
Please review the definition of plagiarism as outlined in the 24-25 School Handbook located on our website under Resources.

- Please review a BODY of work for each subject. Learn more about what a “Body of Work” is HERE.
For each of your students, please turn in a work sample of every course that they are taking.
Be sure your student has written their FULL NAME, SUBJECT, GRADE, and the date the assignment was completed within the date range of the current LP.
Complete all non-AG elective logs by the last day of the LP.
STAR 360 Winter Assessment
STAR 360 Assessment
All students will take the STAR 360 test 3 times each school year. You will be provided the link where your student will log on with the username and password emailed to you by your teacher. The STAR 360 assessment windows are listed below:
- Winter - January 21 - January 31
- Spring - May 19 - May 30
We are excited to use this assessment tool to help us measure your child's growth throughout the year in the area of ELA and Math. Your teacher will provide you with the diagnostic and instructional report, however, we now have the feature available for you to pull the report as well. These reports will provide information regarding skills and concepts the student has mastered as well as areas for growth.
We encourage each student to not rush through the test but to focus and do their very best despite their excitement to finish the test.
