Summer Reading Program is Looking for Volunteers at Kenton Library
At Kenton Library, we still need around 25 more volunteers to reach our goal. These volunteers should be going into middle school (or higher) next school year. So this year's 5th graders are eligible. The deadline for signing up is Wednesday, May 15.
More information can be found on our website here. Folks can apply online or via paper applications (available at every library).
Senior 60 Day Rule
As the year winds down the seniors are well aware of the “60-day rule.” The 60-day rule states that: “seniors shall be disqualified from participation in commencement exercises and related activities (including prom, the senior walk and awards assembly, senior celebration, etc.) if within 60 consecutive calendar days of the last senior school day they are found to be in violation of District Alcohol or Drug policy or any violation resulting in a three or more days of suspension or more serious disciplinary action”. This year the 60 day rule comes into effect on Tuesday April 2nd.
