Happy Sunday West End Superpod!

We had another great week of learning and fun at West End! This included the addition of our Safety Patrol, a new gaga ball pit for students to enjoy at recess, and our Summer Reading Celebration with 80 students who submitted their summer reading packet! We appreciate the Fire Department for coming out and spraying our students, Mr. Mohr, and me! Click here to see photos from this event!

Second graders start their YMCA swim lessons this week. Be sure you know what day your child's class has swim lessons and the items needed for them to participate. Information has been sent home, but reach out to your child's teacher for clarification.

Join us for our first "Parents as Leaders" workshops on Thursday, August 29. We will offer this at two different times: 8:30am and again at 6:00pm. Choose one to attend!

Each year, families of students in a Title 1 school are made aware of the rights they have as parents regarding their child's education.
