Patriot Pulse
November Edition
Hello Grissom Families,
We’re only one quarter into the 2024-25 school year, and we’ve already accomplished so much! Students are working hard in their classes, and they continue to uphold the tenets of The Patriot Way: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe!
We’re thrilled to announce that Grissom Middle School received an EXEMPLARY rating on the recently released 2023-24 Illinois Report Card. More information about this achievement can be found within this newsletter. We’re proud to be recognized as a top-performing school in the state of Illinois.
Parent-Teacher Conference sign-ups are now available on ParentSquare. Be sure to check for available dates and times to schedule a conference with your child’s teacher(s). Conferences will be held on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26.
We’re also looking forward to holding our Veterans Day Assembly this Friday, November 8. We are honored to welcome family members of Grissom students who are serving or have served in the armed forces.
Read about these and more exciting events happening at Grissom in this edition of the Patriot Pulse!
With gratitude,
Mr. Michael Rumbaugh
Principal
