Principal's Weekly Update
June 10th-14th
Dear Families,
How are we just a few days away from the last day of school? Today our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 8th grade students celebrated their last day of school. Our 8th grade students celebrate their baccalaureate Mass this Sunday and they graduate on Monday evening. Please keep our soon-to-be alumni in your prayers.
On Wednesday, we will carry on the yearly tradition of field day. Students are asked to wear their gym uniforms. Students who have a dress down day are asked to wear a husky shirt. We will also have Step-Up Day on the same day. Students will come home with a packet from the new teachers with details about supplies and summer assignments.
I know many of you have been asking about the calendar for the upcoming school year. I am still waiting on final approval of the calendar and will share it with you as soon as I can.
Please remember that Thursday is the last day of school and will be an early release day at 11:30. I will continue to send out a newsletter at least monthly throughout the summer, but next Friday will be the last newsletter for this school year. Please keep an eye out for it as it will have dates for some summer events sponsored by the School Life Committee.
Sincerely,
Megan dos Santos

New Family Referral Program
Any family who refers a new family to our school is eligible for a $600 tuition credit. If a new family enrolls, you will receive a $300 credit to your FACTS account in November. If the new family re-enrolls for the 2025-2026 school year, you will be credited with another $300 in the spring. We have had a steady number of new families enrolling students, many of them referred by our current families. Thank you to all those who are sharing about all the great things happening at Holy Name School with the community!
Community Yard Sale
Holy Name will be hosting its 2nd Annual Community Yard Sale on Saturday, June 29th & Sunday, June 30th from 7 AM to 3 PM at Holy Name School. It will be held rain or shine, with spaces both indoors and outdoors available. All are welcome to buy and sell goods!
Do you have items to sell at the yard sale? Purchase a spot for $25; then bring your items to sell and keep the profit from your sales. Vendors, crafters, and collectors are also welcome to participate. To purchase a spot, please contact Dorothy Mahoney-Pacheco at 401-556-9729 or faithformation@holynamefr.com.
The Jr. Scholarship is directed to those families with financial concern over continuing their child's Catholic education into high school. Students do not need to be Polish. Extracurricular activities and community involved students are preferably chosen.
