A Note From the Principal
Dear Families,
I hope this letter finds you well. As we progress through the school year and welcome a new month, I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of homework in your child’s education. Homework is a vital part of the learning process, reinforcing what has been taught in the classroom and helping students develop essential skills such as time management, responsibility and independent learning.
Your support in ensuring that your child completes their homework is crucial. Here are a few ways you can help:
Create a Homework Routine: Establish a regular time and quiet place for your child to do their homework each day.
Be Available: Offer assistance when needed but encourage your child to try solving problems on their own first.
Stay Informed: Keep track of assignments and due dates. Communicate with your child’s teacher if you have any concerns or questions
Encourage Effort: Praise your child’s efforts and progress, rather than just the final results. This helps build their confidence and motivation.
By working together, we can help our students achieve their full potential. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child’s education.
Please see the attached Parent Calendar for the month of October.
Sincerely,
Debra Cunningham Principal I.A
