Renew your PTA membership online for next school year (make sure to choose one of the 2024-25 options), or look for us at school events in the fall! Anyone can be a PTA member, and it’s a wonderful way to help our students, teachers, and community. Learn more about Membership on our website.
5th Grade Artist Residency
Our fifth grade staff and students enjoyed the visit from talented pottery artist Senora Lynch! She exposed them to the art work, legends, stories, and traditions of her people while guiding them through hands-on pottery activities. A selection of Senora's art is currently on display at NCMA at their exhibit "To Take Shape and Meaning: Form and Design in Contemporary American Indian Art.” Thank you United Arts Council of Wake County for your contributions and for "making art happen" for our students.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Thank you to TheraFriends Community Partnership for presenting on “Inclusion is Everything: Best Practices for Disability Inclusion” at our June 4 PTA meeting. If you missed it, you can view the presentation slides online. Reach out if you’re interested in getting involved with our DEI committee to keep making Briarcliff a more inclusive place for all!
