Teachers will be presenting identical presentations twice. Parents only need to attend one session for each teacher. Please choose the session that works best with your schedule. Please note this is a parent only event.

Ferson Creek will continue our work with the Zones of Regulation this year. The Zones of Regulation (or “Zones” for short), are colors that represent the four areas of self-regulation. Please view this letter to learn more about the zones and how we use them in school.

• Messages can be left 24 hours a day.
• Please leave your name, your child's name, phone number, reason for absence and your child's symptoms if ill.
• If you have advance notice of an absence please fill out our prearranged absence form, inform your child's teacher and submit the completed form to the front office. You are allowed up to 5 prearranged absences per school year.

Our parent volunteers are an integral part of our school community. Therefore, we'd love to invite you to spend time with Ferson Creek students during lunch and lunch recess.

Please keep in mind that it is important to keep our students, staff members, and volunteers safe while they are in our schools. Given that, all volunteers must:

• Have your ID ready and sign in at the office to receive your visitor badge.
• EACH YEAR complete a Volunteer Liability Form. If the school does not have one on file for you and you do not provide one, the office will provide one for you when you come for your first day as a volunteer.

Our annual Black & Blue Night is next Friday, August 23! Come out and join our SCN Athletic Booster Club as we kick-off the fall sports season with games, scrimmages and school spirit! Wristbands will be sold for just $10 which will include the inflatable and face painting for kids. We'll also have a dunk tank, food trucks and custom spirit wear for sale as well!!

All proceeds raised will go directly to SCN Boosters who provide direct support to ALL of our SCN athletic programs. Roll Stars!

If you'd like to be a part of the optional, PTO sponsored school directory, please login into your Membership Toolkit account to update your students' information for the 2024-25 school year. All students' grade levels have been advanced, but you will need to update their teachers.

Our Fall iReady diagnostic assessment window opens on Monday for 1st-5th grade students. Information regarding the assessment and it's purpose can be found here. Kindergarten students also participate in iReady, with an assessment window beginning September 3rd.

Thank you to everyone for your patience with our dismissal this week! We will continue to become more efficient as the days progress.

As a reminder, all cars should enter and exit off of Burr Road only. Please do not use the entrance on Bolcum to enter our leave the parking lot. That is where our buses exit and it becomes too congested if cars are also using that entrance.

Please do not exit your vehicles in the car lane. If needed, you are always welcome to park in the lot and walk your child to the front door.
