The end of the 3rd 9 Weeks is Friday, March 10th. Please make sure you are logging into Home Access Center and reaching our to your student's teachers if you see an issue with their grades or attendance. Communication is the key to a successful partnership. Tutoring is available during Power Hour and after school (see flyer below). This year the Trustees will award a total of 24 scholarships, valued at $93,000, to qualified graduating seniors. Students are asked to submit completed applications, along with a 200-word essay entitled: “Why I am applying for this scholarship,” official transcript and income verification to the counseling office by Friday, March 31, 2023.

This amazing opportunity is for students grades 9th through 11th who may be a caregiver of an individual with special needs or who may be interested in a field related to providing care to individuals with special needs. This weeklong leadership program is intended for high school students (Grades 9-11) who are in caregiver roles outside of student life. Congrats to Wilbert Martin III from Shoemaker High School on getting the Silver Medal at UIL State Wrestling Meet! Martin is the first silver medalist in Shoemaker’s 22 year history! Also competing at the state meet were Sheldon Wilder and Jamiya Thompson.
