BSES Weekly Update

BSES Families-

We enjoyed seeing so many of you on Wednesday evening at our Family Information Night. We was fun to reconnect, share summer stories and check-out new classroom spaces. Our teachers have been learning and working all week, and are ready to officially welcome our students to the 2024-2025 school year on Monday. Just another reminder that the late arrival time has moved from 9:10 AM to 9:00 AM. If you choose to drive your child to school, carline drop off will end at 8:55 AM.

We are excited to see all that 2024-2025 will bring!

The Garnet Valley School District uses Infofinder I (linked here) for student transportation schedules. InfoFinder provides online access to assist in finding your child’s bus number, pick-up/drop-off locations, and times. Any questions please email transportation @ transoffice@garnetvalley.org.

A note from the Transportation Office about Before & After School Care:

We understand that many parents use before and after-school care to accommodate their work schedules. The transportation department will transport students to certified before and after school care locations within the district. Please use the Before & After School Request Form to submit your request.

Drop-Off:

Drop-off runs from 8:40 - 8:55 AM each morning. Students remain in the gym until 8:55 AM, when they are permitted to go to their classrooms. If you arrive after 8:55 AM, you will need to park in front of the school and walk your kindergartner into the office.

Pick-Up:

Pick-up runs from 3:20-3:30 PM. If students are being picked up early, parents must arrive at the main office before 3:00 PM. After 3:00 PM, all students must be picked up via the pick-up line outside of the gym doors.

For the 2024-2025 school year, Bethel Springs Elementary will be able to serve students a school breakfast at no charge.

This change is only applicable to the School Breakfast Program in the 2024-2025 school year and does not affect a student’s eligibility status for lunch (free, reduced, and paid, respectively)

All 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders are invited to join the BSES Chorus. Please click here to learn more about our program and how to sign up!

Please update your child's SNAP Health Portal (directions below). This needs to be completed each year for your child's medical history as well as OTC medication administration permission. Also, all 3rd grade students will need a dental form sent to the school at your earliest convenience.

If you would like to volunteer to be a Homeroom Parent or Classroom Photographer at Bethel Springs this year, please click on this Homeroom Parent/Class Photographer Google Form with more information about the roles and responsibilities of each position and submit the form with your preferences. Deadline for submission is Friday 9/6/24.
