Dear ASA Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! As your Principal, I am so excited to begin a new year that engages students, provides a rigorous instructional model and serves our students through amazing learning opportunities.

This year’s theme is Level Up! We plan to take our game to the next level in all respects. We are fortunate to have such an enthusiastic and devoted team of professionals that are committed to “Level Up” with data-driven instruction, communication to our ASA families and ensure our wolves are learning in a safe and caring environment.

It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where students, parents, and teachers care for each other and strive to build the positive relationships that support academic and social growth. As we venture forward, please know that I believe strongly in the value of working closely together. I look forward to building strong relationships with our community and look forward to seeing you at one or all of our in-person Howling with the Principal opportunities throughout the school year.

Mark your calendars for Back to School Night on Thursday, August 10!

1st through 8th grade families, choose from two sessions:

• 5:00 - 5:30
• 5:40 - 6:10

TK and Kinder families, please attend these sessions:

• TK - K PM - 5:00 - 5:30
• TK - K AM - 5:40 - 6:10

TK-6 will be in their classrooms, and Middle School (7th and 8th) will be in The Den.

Please note: It's a Minimum Day for ALL students!

• 1st-8th (8:00-12:30),
• TK/K am (8:00-11:25), and
• TK/K pm (8:55-12:40).

Dear ASA families,

Complete the Meal Application to assist with maximizing LCFF funding. A portion of every school’s funding and other resources are determined by certain characteristics of its students, one of which is need. To assist in demonstrating that need, all families at ASA are requested to submit a completed Income Survey Form, to be made available on our site.

By completing the form, you will help our school reach the goal of maximizing funding to support our students’ academic successes and creating equitable learning environments. If you have any questions regarding this information or about the school meal program, contact Food Services via phone or email.

For the 2023-2024 school year, meals will be served at no cost to the students regardless of their eligibility

If your wolf will be eating breakfast on campus, he/she may arrive at 7:30 am and enter through the front office doors.

Just a friendly reminder that students are not permitted to be dropped off before 7:45 am unless they are having breakfast on campus.
