Dear Ford Families,

As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support throughout this year. Your active involvement in your children's education – from helping with homework to participating in school events – has made a remarkable difference in our school community.

Our students' success is a direct reflection of the strong partnership between our dedicated teachers and you, our supportive parents. Whether you've volunteered, attended parent-teacher conferences, or simply ensured your child arrives ready to learn each day, your commitment to education has helped create the vibrant learning environment we enjoy at Ford Boulevard Elementary.

As we prepare for the winter break, I want to wish each of you a joyous holiday season filled with warmth, love, and precious moments with loved ones. May this time of year bring you peace and happiness, and may the new year ahead bring continued success for all our students.

As in previous years, in order to help maximize the experience for all audience members, parents will be allowed inside to view performances by classroom. The audience will be cleared at after the performance and the next set of parents will be allowed in. Entrance to the performances will only be through the Duncan Auditorium Entrance. If you need physical accommodations, please let a staff member know and we will help facilitate your seating as best we can.

• After School - Family Pictures with Santa (if you have multiple students, default to oldest child's schedule)

Don't miss this opportunity to have your child take individual pictures with Santa! Fill out the form and send the money with your child. Additional forms available in the front office.

This year we will open the opportunity for Ford Families to take pictures with Santa after school. See the schedule below. If you have multiple children, please come during the schedule for the oldest child. This will be our first time offering this opportunity with Santa after school, let's make it a successful one.

In this the month of December please help families in need by joining us in donating toys to our Ford Blvd. Toy Drive. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! See details in the flyer below.

Your input as a parent is valuable to our 2025-2026 School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) that aligns to our instructional goals. Please take a moment to fill out our 2025-2026 Comprehensive Needs Assessment.

We will be celebrating 75 days of learning, laughter, and holiday fun! We will celebrate in the most festive way with a Snowman vs. Reindeer showdown! 🦌☃️ Don’t miss out on all the fun!

It pays to attend school everyday. Students who attend everyday will receive 10 attendance bulldog paws at the end of each Friday with a raffle ticket. The raffle will take place on 12/13. Students who attend that day will also receive a large squishmallow. Only thing students have to do is attend everyday to earn their prizes. No stamps necessary.

Entrance gates close at 8:00am No Exceptions! The main entrance on Ford Blvd will be open for late students. We would appreciate your support in helping us reduce tadies by ensuring you leave for school a bit earlier each day. Thanks for your understanding and support.

Do you have a Parent Portal Account? This is resources gives you valuable and immediate access to district resources: including grades, attendance, assignments and scores, enrollment info, food menus, bus transportation routes, volunteer procedures, Individualized Education Program (IEP), after-school services and resources for multilingual students.

If you do not have an account or are unable to access the Parent Portal, please stop by our Ford Blvd. Parent Center and Ms. Moraza or Ms. Manzo will gladly assist you in connecting to the Parent Portal.

Participating parents earn Bulldog Paws for their child as an incentive for attending. See you there!

Traffic Safety Campaign: Curb Your Behavior

Please adhere to traffic laws when dropping off your child. Use our Valet. Never double park, and make sure to use crosswalks when dropping your child off at the entrance or when walking to school.

As a reminder, doors open at 7:30 AM, and instruction begins promptly at 8:00 AM. All morning entrances except for the main entrance close promptly at 8:02 a.m.
