Eagle Family,

Can you believe the gorgeous weather we are having? It's hard to believe this is February.

As we move towards March, there are some fun events coming. Right now, we are partnering with Temple College for the Read, Lead, Succeed! Reading Challenge. This past week we were in first place for the most minutes read in the district. Way to go, Eagles! Keep reading and tracking your minutes!

Next week, on Thursday, February 29, I want to invite parents and students to join us for Student Led Conferences, STEM Night and Book Fair. Students will show off their learning and talk about their goals when they visit the classroon with their families. They can also shop at the Book Fair and do fun science, technology, engineering and math activities in the cafeteria with the Activities Teachers.

I look forward to continuing to partner with each of you to help our students achieve at high levels!

What to Wear to School

Now that the weather is warming up, I want to take a few minutes to remind families about our campus and district dress code. The complete dress code can be found by clicking HERE, but below are some quick reminders.

Open toe and open back shoes are not allowed at recess or P.E.
Closed toe shoes with a back strap or closed back are recommended at all times.
Hats and hoods are not allowed in the building unless it is a designated day.
Crop tops are not allowed.
Tight clothing, like leggings and biker shorts, short shorts, oversized clothing and clothing with holes/tears will be determined by the principal or assistant principal.
Pajamamas and slippers are not allowed unless it is for a designated day.

Arrival and Dismissal

Arrival

👉Student should arrive to school between 7:20 and 7:45.
Classes start promptly at 7:50.
Breakfast is served from 7:20-7:45

Dismissal

Changes to transportation must be sent in a written note to the child's teacher.
Emails and phone messages are not reliable for changing transportation.
Student transportation should remain consistent to avoid problems.
The school office will close at 3:00 to faciliate dismissal.
