Oak Ridge JH/HS Weekly Brief
Final Week!! 5/17/24
Mr. Collier's Thoughts
Mr. Collier
The 2023-2024 school year is complete! I could not be more proud of Oak Ridge JH/HS! I would like to thank the parents and community members that showed up all year to support our students and staff. I am convinced that the Oak Ridge Community is one of the hardest working, caring, and loving communities in the World. The school appreciates you more than you know. Next, I would like to thank the faculty and staff of the Oak Ridge R-6 School District. Learning is not possible without them and they are Oak Ridge Schools. They have endured change, high times, and low times. Thank you all so much for taking me in, embracing change, and trusting me to lead the JH/HS. I want to thank the students. Students you all are what made this year so special. We are all here for you and your needs are what all of us strive to meet. Please keep working hard, staying centered on the values we expect, and pushing through each obstacle that you face! Seniors, thank you for being leaders in our building and taking me in on my first year. I appreciate you all rising to the occasion and staying the course. I am proud of you and each of you can always call on me to be their for you! I also want to thank God for allowing me to be a part of this community, school, and Oak Ridge family. I have thoroughly enjoy Oak Ridge and look forward to many more successful years!
