1. The next Career Cafe will be held on January 22nd and our guest will be Julie McNeely Hicks from McNeely's Place (Restaurant and Catering). The sign-up form is available to students via email. Pizza is provided free of charge to all attendees. You must sign up to attend.
2. Groundhog Job Shadow Day is Friday, January 31st. This event is for 8th Grade students only. Permission slips will be available in the office.
3. All 8th grade students will be going to "Power Up Your Future" - Career and College Event on February 27th at the fairgrounds. Permission slips were distributed by advisories and must be turned in to the counseling department by February 5th.

Parents – we are sending out reminders to households to remind them of the current yearbook offer. Save the Money, Save the Memories. Getting a yearbook is even better when you save. Prices increasing on January 1st, so order by December 31st to get your book at the lower cost.

If you are not sure about your yearbook order, do not call the school. Please call Jostens at 1-877-767-5217. They will be able to verify an order. If none exists, you may place an order over the phone and pay with a credit card. Please note: We can’t guarantee extra copies for sale once they arrive in MAY, 2025. HSMS will be selling pizza and sodas at lunch. Pizza is sold every Friday for $2 a slice and sodas are $1. Cash Only. Pizza is sold during all three lunches.
