Radial Symmetry Mandalas
4th and 5th grade
What is a mandala?
Mandala means "circle," which represents wholeness. A mandala is a two-dimensional circular shape that has a central focal point. The mandala has radial symmetry: From the central point, a symmetrical design radiates outwards. That means all the sections that radiate from the central point are made up of exactly similar parts.
