Updates from Silas Marion (Band Captain) and Sean Lane (Business Manager)
Silas (Band Captain) -
Thank you to the members of the Marching Band for your resilience and high energy at Thursday's game. It was definitely an odd experience, but I feel that it was a great time for team bonding, and we all had a good time despite the rain. I hope everyone is ready for another week of hard work during class as our concert is approaching. The Homecoming game is this Friday and I hope everyone is very excited. Additionally, the CTE program at Davie is collecting items for disaster relief for Watauga High School, and any donations would be appreciated. A list can be found on the Davie CTE instagram page. As always, thank you band parents for your continued support and commitment to this great program. - Silas
Sean (Business Manager) -
I hope everyone is doing well and any family members in Western NC are safe. As a reminder, the band will be at a community event selling food on 10/12 to raise money for the NYC trip. Students who are interested in volunteering should be on the lookout for a signup link in the near future. Feel free to stop by to purchase a hotdog or hamburger! I also hope everyone is excited for our concert on the 17th; it will be here before we know it! - Sean
Volunteer Committees
Our official Band Booster Bylaws give us the ability to have committees for different aspects of our organization. This also gives opportunities for our families to be involved in a specific and intentional way. There are several opportunities to serve our program and the kids!

If you prefer to make online payments, look for this email from Quickbooks. If you and your child have not filled out the Official Commitment Form this MUST be turned in by Tomorrow as well.
Parents, if you expressed interest in chaperoning, I will be in touch within the week. We are finalizing the amount of students who are attending the trip. Once we have this finalized, I will have more information for you.
