Book Ideas!
Adults:
The historian in your life might love Team of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
A cook in your family will love The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook by Perelman. Ms. Wendlandt's husband made the homemade Oreos recipe....swoooon.
Do you watch HBO's The Game of Thrones? Did you know they are books? A Song of Ice and Fire.
JK Rowling has a new book out called The Casual Vacancy...yes, that JK Rowling.
Janet Evanovich fan? Notorious Nineteen is new!
A young adult in your life? What about the Divergent series by Roth (Insurgent is out, too!)? Code Name Verity? The Book Thief? Daughter of Smoke and Bone?
And now...for the kids:
I love the Zita graphic novels, and there is a new one - Legends of Zita the Spacegirl. Your older reader will like Drama, the new Telgemeier graphic novel. It's a "sequel" of sorts to Smile.
The Mark of Athena is out! So is the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries.
How about reading The Hobbit as a family before seeing the movie?
Your young readers will love Pete the Cat and the new Elephant and Piggie adventure: Let's Go for a Drive!
