Plano Band Weekly Announcements

Marching Band rehearsal begins TODAY at 4:45pm. You must move quickly after school to change clothes, bring your water, instrument, & fully-charged phone to the field by 4:45pm. Every student is required to have access to UDB EVERY rehearsal. Rehearsal will start promptly at 4:45pm.

0 Hour & 7th period - Students cannot hang out in D Building Lobby.

Students must go to the library, front porch, or cafeteria to study.

NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE FINE ARTS BUILDING!!

STUDENTS SHOULD EAT OUTSIDE OR IN THE CAFETERIA.

• Required attire: SHOW shirt, khaki shorts, black ANKLE socks, athletic shoes
• students NOT in required attire may not be permitted to perform concert

2. DUE MONDAY - Band binder, flip folder (with all music filed in order), lyre - name clearly marked on ALL (test grade)

1. WE, SYM - All-State Music Evaluation 1st 1/2 Etude #1 - DUE Aug 27/28 (6 Cumulative All-State Test = Semester 2 Chair Placement)

2. CON - F & Bb Major Scales & Arpeggios - DUE Aug 27 (6 Cumulative Tests = Semester 2 Chair Placement)

1.Sectionals/Masterclasses begin NEXT week (NO PRIVATE LESSONS ON SECTIONALS DAYS)

• SYMPHONIC & WIND ENSEMBLE - Tuesdays Woodwinds / Wednesdays Brass
• Concert - Wednesday
