~ Annual Scholastic Book Fair
Dear Chief Charlo Families,
Thank you so much for all your support for the Scholastic Book Fair this year! It was a huge success. We sold approximately $9000.00 dollars in books and raised $4500.00 in Scholastic credit for the Chief Charlo Library. The library is used by all the students, and being able to buy new books for our collection helps to keep our students connected with books and reading. Our students are very excited to get new books! We could not have had such a successful book fair without all the great parent and staff volunteers!! A BIG SHOUT OUT to all the parents and staff who helped make it such a success: April, Annalynn and Jackson Miller, Annie Harris, Yi-saeng Burrese. Coryll Rupert, Brittney Trowbridge, Fey Reynolds, Renee Doyle, Ms. Solynn, Grace Thomas, Elyse Johnson, Kristen Owens, Adrian Kolberg and Nick Kolberg. A special thank you to our fantastic janitorial staff Pat, Chris, and Nick who are always around to lend a helping hand. Again, Chief Charlo community, thank you for supporting all our readers!!
See you soon at the library.
Sincerely,
Mary Greil

Library on the Hill
National School Librarian Day is April 4. Please encourage your student(s) to take a couple of moments during the week to let Mrs. Greil know how much they appreciate her and all she does to help them find the perfect book to read and learn how the library works. Mrs. Greil is definitely the heart of our library!!
Spring and Critter books
It's April and spring is finally here! The weather will soon warm up, and flowers will start to bloom and little critters wake up from "their long winter's nap"! The library has lots of fun books with critters to learn and laugh with.

Poetry Books
In honor of 'Poetry Month', ask Mrs. Griel about the library's selection of poetry books. They're located in the 800 section of our library.
Families in Transition (FIT) Program
The Families in Transition (FIT) Program is here to assist Chief Charlo students and families experiencing housing instability (McKinney-Vento Act) and/or economic hardship. FIT works as a bridge between those families, our school and the district staff to empower students to stay in school and remain successful both in school and as lifelong learners. FIT also provides families access to community resources and services.
FIT is here to support your family, because we care about all of our Wolves - BIG and small!!
