Following the Still Small Voice
Meet the Staff BBQ - Sept. 20th @ 4:30-6:30pm.
We can't wait to see you all this week! Join us from 4:30-6:30pm for some food and fellowship as we kick off the new year. Our Parent Council meeting will begin at 6:30pm for those interested in staying.
This meeting provides a valuable platform for us to discuss important matters, exchange ideas, and work collaboratively to enhance our school community. Your insights and suggestions are incredibly valuable to us, and we believe that your participation will contribute to our shared goal of providing the best possible learning environment for our students.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we eagerly anticipate your presence at the Parent Council Meeting. We would love for you to attend in person at St. Mary's or there is also a virtual option for those who may not be able to make it in person. Demographic Confirmation Forms
The “EICS Demographic Confirmation Form” for the 2023-2024 school year, is now available for you to complete and submit, for each of your children attending an Elk Island Catholic School. The form is found online in your PowerSchool Parent Portal and you may have received an email regarding updating this info.
This form is a mandatory document and is required to be updated for every student each year, and is needed especially for local field trips and athletic trips as there is a digital permission form that is required for students to use our STMY buses.
Please contact our school secretary, Margaret Michaelchuk at 780-632-3934, if you have any questions or require assistance.
STMY Athletics Website
St. Mary's Catholic School is excited to announce the launch of their new Athletics Schedule Page, aimed at keeping students, parents, and the wider community informed about upcoming sporting events.
The Athletics Schedule Page is an initiative by the school's sports department to provide easy access to all the athletic activities taking place at St. Mary's. Whether it's practices, games, tournaments, or fundraising, this page will serve as a one-stop destination for all information related to the school's athletic events.
With this new platform, students and parents can stay up to date with game schedules, ensuring that they never miss an opportunity to cheer on their favorite St. Mary's teams. The page will include details about both home and away games, along with any necessary information about transportation or other logistical aspects.
If your child is on a sport team please download the TeamLinkt App and we will be sending out invitation codes to the specific team your child is on so you will have access to the chat function and schedules for that team. Thank you for being patient with us as we iron out the kinks in this new system.
