Wear Pink on Friday!
CCS Pink Out Day
This Friday, CCS will have a “Pink Out Day". All staff and students are encouraged to wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. Ms. Brooks participated in the walk in Solomons last weekend and was the star on the front cover of the Calvert County Times! We will parade our pink at 10:45am Friday. Ms. Brooks will lead staff and students in kicking off the walk at the front of the school then continue to the soccer and football field area for some laps.
CCS Superstars
Ms. Chase worked with Kyle and Evan to determine Halloween facts vs. fictions.
Nickolas was using the power of 10 to make one thousand, one hundred eleven (1,111) with place value blocks.
Our own Ms. Brooks was on the cover of the Calvert County Times and raced for a cure this past weekend.
Red Ribbon Week starts Monday!
Student pictures
CCS has contracted with Classic Photography for school pictures. Pictures will be taken for the yearbook, and parents will have an opportunity to purchase pictures. Classic Photography will be at CCS the morning of Thursday, November 7th. Please make sure your students arrive on time to school. If you have a senior who is exiting this school year and would like to have them photographed in a cap and gown, please call the office or send in a note to ensure we have a cap and gown for them to wear.
