Dear Longhorn Families,

It is hard to believe that we are in the 3rd nine weeks already. The year continues to fly by quickly. I want to talk about some exciting news that happened last week. We started a new award system at Los Reyes. Students can earn awards for 2 different things. They can earn an award for our Learner Profiles and for the Pillars of Character. Our teachers pick multiple students every nine weeks. This is another way where students can get recognized for being great citizens. These awards really do mean a lot to me. We get the opportunity to stop by all the classrooms to deliver the certificates to all the students. We love seeing all the smiling faces when they receive their award and we love how excited their classmates are for them. There is always a lot of clapping and cheering when we pass them out. We just wanted to share that so many great things are happening at Los Reyes. Have a wonderful week and thank you for being the best parents in Northside ISD. Longhorn Land is truly a special place.
