CG Gear: Our online store is up and running for the year. Check out https://christinagordon.entripyshops.com/ to order school clothing. There is a wide variety of styles, logos, and colours to choose from!
Hot Lunch Program: Hot Lunch ordering for the month of November is now open. Ordering will be open from the 1st to the 20th of each month in order to order for the following month. When placing your order you may notice a button to Volunteer for Hot Lunch days. Please consider volunteering to help sort and organize Hot Lunch from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. This program will not continue to run without the support of parent volunteers. CG Cares October Campaign: Christina Gordon will be collecting donations for the Centre of Hope, focusing on their most needed items - see the attached poster (Digital Take Home Folder). As a school, we are going to be doing our best to "stuff" a large van or trailer. Donations can be given to classroom teachers.
Pokemon Cards: Going forward, we are asking that families no longer allow students to bring toys from home such as pokemon cards. Unfortunately we have had several disagreements about pokemon cards that have occured over the past week. Classroom teachers are unable to guarantee that items from home will not get lost, broken, or stolen at school. Items that students are really attached to or will feel strongly about losing should not come to class. Thank you for your understanding!
Popcorn Day: Popcorn days are back on for the year and have been set by the Fundraising Association. Plase note the following:
- Not all days are on Friday.
- There is no online payment for popcorn. Students can bring $2 to their classroom teachers.
- Students are welcome to pay for the full year in advance rather than trying to remember to pay each time. The popcorn dates will be October 18th, November 14th, December 3rd, January 10th, February 6th, March 21st, April 3rd, May 23rd, and June 13th. There are 9 dates in total. To pay for all dates, please send a total of $18 with your student.
The first Popcorn Day will be this week on Friday, October 18th. Please send $2 to your student's teacher by Wednesday, October 16th to order popcorn.
