Private HypnoBirthing Classes 2018
Calm and Gentle Birth Education in the privacy of your home!
Why Private HypnoBirthing Classes?
In our hectic, busy life styles especially when pregnant I find families have a hard time making time for child birth education in their lives. They have to conform to class schedules and the class structure isn't specific to their needs. This is why I strongly believe in private classes for my childbirth education students. I take your situation and schedule in your schedule. Some of the benefits of private classes vs. group or hospital classes:
- I meet you at your home in your environment. You don't have to travel.
- We schedule around your life and that makes your life easier.
- I teach to your needs not the Care Provider or Birth Location/ Hospital policy.
- You will watch inspirational videos to help you believe and achieve.
- You will learn greater tools and techniques to help you cope through labor/birth.
- As Child Birth Educator and Doula I am a specialist in birth. I am always learning, growing, and helping families get the birth and information they require for their birth vision.
- You get what you pay for, absolutely. Private classes are more expensive because they are one on one, custom, and are a premium service. However, you get a greater voice in what you learn in classes. We follow our syllabus but can go into great detail through class and also in our last session that is not HypnoBirthing but more about additional comfort measures, postpartum time frame etc.
- Birth Companions, partners, and doulas can become more involved and learn what is necessary without an pressure in a group setting.
- You can achieve a better birth options selection and create a stronger wish list in order to help put critical items in writing.

Tell me more about the classes HypnoBirthing® Plus Class Series:

How much are HypnoBirthing® private classes?
The classes cover all 17 hours of class time. Plus you get individual attention and customized help from the class to meet your personal families needs. The fee is $475 $525 (plus mileage). If the fee is out of the norm of your budget I do offer group classes at $325 for the group series on a quarterly basis. I also will do payment plans and barter arrangements (all must be paid prior to the last class). If you are experiencing financial hardships also offer gift certificates for baby showers and blessing ways. If none of these options will help please contact me to see if I might have other options to help you in your situation! I am known for being flexible.
Are classes paid for by insurance?
No. I do not work with insurance companies directly. I am happy to give you a receipt that you can use in addition to their forms to try to get reimbursed. Classes are sometimes covered by FSA or HSA accounts. I can again supply you with a receipt.
Where are classes held?
In the comfort of your home. Because of allergies, I can only go to the home of nonsmokers.
Can I invite others to my classes?
Doulas, Midwives, Birth Companions are all welcome to attend the class. I ask that you arrange for a babysitter for older children. You can't do hypnosis, visualization, or even lecture with kids running about. If you know another couple or two we can reduce the cost of the private classes for everyone and convert your class into a group session in your home.
How far will I travel?
I primarily service the Central Ohio region but have traveled as far as Dayton, Kenton, St. Clairsville, and Delaware before to teach classes. I am open to travel just call for a quote.
How do I get the process started?
A $100, non-refundable, deposit is due upon registration to hold your class as my calendar fills quickly. The balance is due the first night of class unless you desire a payment plan or something else. All other payments must be approved and agreed upon prior to class.
