Let’s Start Strong in 2025!
Dear Middle School Chargers,
Happy New Year! I hope you’re feeling ready and excited to tackle 2025 with energy and focus. It has been great to have everyone back into the school! As we settle back into routines, I want to remind you how important it is to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible during our passing periods and transitions.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Get to Class on Time: The bell signals the start of your learning, so make sure you’re in your seat and ready to go.
- Positive Behavior Matters: Show kindness and respect in the hallways—it makes a difference for everyone!
- Stay Focused: Keep moving to your next class without delays or distractions.
If you’re late to class, there will be lunch detention assigned. This isn’t about punishment—it’s about helping everyone stay accountable and creating the best environment for success.
Let’s work together to make our school a place where everyone feels supported and ready to learn. I’ll be out in the hallways during passing periods and look forward to seeing you demonstrate what it means to be a true Charger.
Let’s make this a fantastic start to the year!
Mr. Joachim
A Few Reminders...
All students need to have a hall pass
when out of the classroom. They must be turned back
into your teacher.
Bathroom's Full: I got to go!
One of the most important lessons I learned from my grandfather is to always leave things better than we found them. Let’s set the expectation that each student plays a part in leaving our school in better shape at the end of each day.
Here’s how we can make it happen:
- Empty Trash: Take classroom trash to the gondola by the 5th-grade bathroom.
- Tidy the Room: Have students pick up all items and trash from the floor.
- Organize Supplies: Ensure all school supplies and resources are neatly put away.
- Stack Chairs: Place all chairs in a stack or on desks.
These simple routines will allow our custodial staff more time for essential tasks like vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, and mopping. Thank you for helping our students make this a daily habit!
