Dear Eagle Nation,
We had a fantastic week at CHS—full of memorable moments, meaningful learning, and reasons to celebrate!
Centennial Invite – 59 Years Strong!
The 59th Annual Centennial Invitational Track Meet is one of Oregon’s longest-running track meets and is happening now at the CHS stadium! A huge thank you to everyone who is helping right now to make this event possible, from our dedicated staff and volunteers to supportive families and community members. There is still time, so please come down and cheer on our Eagles as they compete—we’re proud to host such a legacy event right here at home. (CSD Roadmap '27, Goal #3)
CHS Blood Drive a Success!
The CHS Blood Drive, hosted by our National Honor Society and the Red Cross, was a tremendous success! Thank you to everyone who donated, and to CHS NHS and Mrs. Thiebes for organizing such an impactful event. Your efforts exemplify the compassion and commitment of our students and staff in making a difference in the Centennial community. (CSD Roadmap'27, Goal #2)
CHS Student Council Earns Gold Standard Recognition!
At last weekend’s OASC Spring Conference, CHS ASB/Leadership students were honored as a Gold Standard Student Council, a first in living memory for our school! This recognition reflects over a year of hard work by our student leaders, supported by Mr. Self, our staff, families, and community. Together, they’ve redefined student leadership at CHS. We’re proud of this milestone and excited for what’s ahead. Our students are already bringing back fresh ideas to make next year even better. Way to go, Eagles! (CSD Roadmap '27, Goal #3)
