Tomorrow is the 100th day of school, which as you can see from this snowy scene means our kids are exhausted from becoming 100 days smarter! This friend was happily taking a comfy break in the fluffy snow during Green recess this week, and I couldn't help snap a photo to capture the vibe!

Try as we might, it is very difficult to keep up with organizing and sorting the Wentworth Lost and Found. More and more items are added (read: flung onto the pile) daily! I have parent volunteers willing to help that I will be reaching out to to give this chaos some love!

Unclaimed items will be donated (some to our Volunteer Club winter gear drive - see below) over February Break. Next week we will move the display to the main corridor and hope some of the belongings are collected by their owners. I know these items are not inexpensive - PSA: Please label your child's clothing. We do our best to connect labelled items with owners, but it could be a full time job.

Healthy kids this time of year need warm clothes to be comfy and safe. With your encouragement and kindness, you can help kids in need of winter clothes. Your Wentworth student can help donate winter clothes by bringing in warm winter clothing to school and placing the items in their wing’s donation box. Your kind action will make a huge impact on a child’s life, and all of the clothing collected will be donated to a local shelter. Thank you so much for your incredible effort to help many people.

Tooth Protectors Inc. Dental Care is Coming Back to Our School!

We will provide Fluoride and Screenings at no cost for all School Age Children on behalf of

the State Oral Health Program

Students who attended the fall clinic do not need to fill out a new form, simply notify the clinic so we can plan for appointments and coordinate transportation as needed.

Wentworth Yearbooks are on sale now. Order forms are available in the main office. You can complete the order form with payment and return to your student’s homeroom teacher or you can order online at ybpay.com and enter the Yearbook ID Code: 11561925. Yearbooks are $16.00 and checks are made payable to Wentworth School.

With the donations we have already received, we will recognize our amazing bus drivers with a terrific spread on February 13th. The Wentworth PTA/PTO group will team up with the primary schools PTA to create a fantastic event for them, and they deserve it!
