Dear EXCEL Academy PCS Families,
We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in and supported our "Tape the Principal" event! It was another incredible success, filled with laughter, fun, and a whole lot of tape! We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and generosity.
Your support makes these events possible, and we are so grateful for our amazing community. Principal Byrd had a blast (literally!) being taped to the wall, all for a great cause!
We are always looking for new and exciting ways to engage our students and families. We would love to hear YOUR suggestions for future events! What would you like to see next?
Please send your ideas and suggestions directly to Mr. Bryant at john.bryant@pgcps.org. We value your input and are eager to create more memorable experiences for our school community.
We will be sharing photos from the "Tape the Principal" event soon, so keep an eye out!
And don't forget to follow and subscribe to the EXCEL Academy PCS Facebook page for updates, photos, and more!
Thank you again for your continued support!
Sincerely,
The EXCEL Academy Sunshine Committee
World Pi Day Recap! Happy 3.14 🥧🥼🔬
To the Howard B. Owens Science Center, thank you for an outstanding STEAM event that truly ignited a passion for science in our EXCEL Academy students. The hands-on activities, carefully aligned with the county science curriculum, fostered a sense of wonder and inquiry that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been the pilot school for this valuable school-wide experience.

Athletic Department Updates
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to pause our soccer tryouts for the time being. We are working through these issues and will try to provide everyone with an update by the end of this week on whether we will have a soccer season this year. We are continuing to work to improve our athletic programs as a whole, so please be patient as we work through some bumps in the road. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Iverson. Thank you.
