Guiteras Weekly Update
September 6th, 2024
#guiterasgreatness
We had a great first week here at Guiteras!
I’d like to thank the whole Guiteras community for giving me such a warm welcome! It’s clearly an amazing place full of incredible people.
Our Feinstein Golden Ticket Winner
Guiteras' forth grader Markus Ferreira was a Golden Ticket winner over the summer (hol onto those tickets!). Aside from a a box full of cool goodies, a $500 donation was awarded in Markus's name, and Guiteras received a $5000 grant!

Picking up Students
Be sure to have your ID with you all year. Your child's teacher may know you, but if there's a substitute in for them months from now, they won't know you. :)
Fun Run Fundraiser ~ September 16
Guiteras is now profiting over $1,033 towards our goal, and 36% towards our 75% registered-let's keep it up?
👍 Sign up at MyBooster.com today. Search for “Guiteras School.”
💵 Donate and ✉️ Share. We are encouraging every family to share their donation page with 10 people.
🎁 Throughout the week, our class will earn fun rewards based on how much we raise on our classroom tracker. When our class earns a reward that adds some extra awesomeness to our day, I will be sure to let you know.
🎉 09/16/2024: Event Day. This is our epic celebration day - Guiteras Fun Run!
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Phone/SmartWatch Policy
Cell Phones/Smart Watches
There is to be absolutely no cell phone or smart watch (or any watch that has communication capabilities) used by students at school. We ask that students do not have phones visible at any point in the school day. If your child has a phone for after school use, it must remain silent in their backpack. Students who violate this by bringing the phone/watch out during the school day will have the device sent to the office for a parent to pick up.
Arrival and Dismissal
Morning Arrival
Arrival of Walkers 8:45 a.m. School starts at 8:55 a.m. Students are considered tardy after 8:55 a.m. Tardy students must go to the main entrance for a late pass. All other doors are locked.
All students that are not taking the bus to school will enter from the back of Guiteras. Parents will park on the street and walk their children into the gated area. Students are not recommended to play outside before school. Students will be greeted by Guiteras Faculty and will walk straight into their classroom where their teacher will be waiting with a smile.
