From the Principals Desk

This week at Greenacres, all of our students have been working on their FastBridge academic screeners. These assessments give us a great baseline for where our students need to go to achieve high levels of learning all year. Once we have analyzed all our results, we then have time set aside each day for students to receive "What I Need". We call this WIN time, where kids can receive extra support, extension, or revisiting of prior skills taught, so as to set them on a trajectory of high academic gains. Thank you for your partnership in making this an excellent school year!

Lastly, you received a message from Superintendent, Dr. John Parker the other day about our community LINK event. Please join the East Learning Community on October 29th for an opportunity to hear Dr. Parker highlight the great things happen around Central Valley School District as well as what is happening locally in our smaller learning community. We hope to see you at Ridgeline High School on October 29th at 6pm.

Eastside Tech Night

Dear Families and Community Members,

We are excited to invite you to Eastside Technology Night: Parenting in the Digital Age on October 9th at Ridgeline High School Theater from 6:30–7:30 PM. This event is designed to provide valuable insights into creating distraction-free learning environments and ensuring technology safety for students.

Learn about the importance of distraction-free learning environments. Hear firsthand from teachers and students about the positive changes taking place in the classroom.
Technology Safety: Insights from "Anxious Generation"
Our school counselors and local law enforcement will share vital information on mental health, device addiction, and how parents can ensure phone safety for their children. We'll also touch on the role of AI in today’s world.

Understand why following district technology policies is essential for student success and well-being in creating distraction-free learning environments and how you can help support our schools.

Get access to helpful resources and information to take home, empowering you with the tools to support your child’s healthy tech habits.
