Welcome to Term 3!

A warm welcome to Term 3, particularly to our new families and all those who participated in our welcome whakatau earlier this week. Thanks, as always, to the PTA for organising refreshments for our guests on the day, which always exemplifies our Whanaungatanga Touchstone so well.


Once again, we can be very proud of how well the children have settled back into class and re-engaged with their learning as the second half of the school year gets underway.

Keeping Up To Date

It’s a busy term ahead, as you may have seen in our key dates for Term 3. We’re excited to (finally!) have our school hall up and running again (just in time for our gymnastics programme), particularly as we have Y5 and Y6 Productions scheduled for later this term.


A reminder also that our live school calendar is available in the HERO app to keep you up to date with what’s happening around school. As part of this, it's important to ensure you have notifications enabled for the app, as this is now our primary communication platform.

Welcome To New Staff

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our new class teachers Fran Mes, Michaela Passmore and Liwei He, who have all worked hard to hit the ground running with their learners this term. We're excited to have them join the team!

Uniform Reminder

Finally, a reminder to please check that your child has the correct uniform each school day, as shown below.

We sincerely appreciate your help with this as sometimes the children can be very creative in ‘accessorising’ and customising the uniform!


Other than that, we look forward to sharing more about the many exciting opportunities ahead in the coming weeks.

  • If you have any uniforms that your child no longer fits/needs then please consider donating to the Uniform Shop. Donations can be dropped off at the office. Thank you!

Keep collecting those Yummy Apple Stickers!!

Did you know that Stickers from Bags of Yummy Apples are worth 10 Points? Just cut out the sticker and glue it to a blank sheet of paper. If your bag of Yummy Apples doesn’t have a sticker, cut out and glue the bar code to your blank sheet of paper!


Keep collecting MENPS - the more stickers we collect, the more sports gear we will get for our kids to enjoy at school!!
