Dear Oak Brook Families,
Each year, Oak Brook Elementary celebrates our Veterans by hosting a ceremony for friends and family who have served, or are currently serving our country in the military.
This year, our celebration will be held in-person, on November 11th, at Oak Brook Elementary. The celebration will begin at 8:00 AM, in our school gym. We ask guests not to arrive before 7:45 AM. Please note we will not be serving breakfast this year. Students bringing guests will be invited to participate in the celebration. Other students will watch the celebration streaming live into the classrooms and will participate in the parade.
The ceremony will end at approximately 8:45 AM, with a parade of Veterans.
If you have a relative or friend who is a Veteran, please invite them to attend our celebration. We ask that you RSVP by filling out the Google Form linked below. We will follow up with a formal invitation for each Veteran. We do ask for each visitor's date of birth in the rsvp form so we can check every one in ahead of time to expedite things the morning of the assembly.
