Principal's Weekly Update
Dear Families,
Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you well as we step into 2025 with excitement and purpose. The new year is already off to a fantastic start, and I want to thank everyone who joined us for our Robotics Open House this past week. It was inspiring to see so many students, families, and community members engaging with our talented robotics team and exploring the incredible work they’ve been doing. Your support makes all the difference, and we are so proud of their achievements!
I also have to mention our student-staff jam session. What an incredible way for our students to share space with teachers who are talented musicians. Hearing them play Pearl-Jam and Neil Young together was awesome!
Looking ahead, I am thrilled to remind you about our Middle School production of Newsies this weekend! Our students and staff have worked tirelessly and I know it’s going to be a performance to remember. Performances will be held in the auditorium on Friday at 7:00 PM, Saturday at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Be sure to get your tickets and come cheer on our talented performers!
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead filled with learning, growth, and community.

"Christmas in Mexico" pinatas
Señora DeGrenier’s Honors Spanish II classes made piñatas this past December as part of their learning unit “Christmas in Mexico”. Students learned about the Christmas parties in Mexico and the meaning of them. They were very interested in learning this cultural part of Mexico and they were also very excited about building piñatas. They had lots of fun when they broke the piñatas and caught all the candy and fruits that parents kindly donated to our classes. Students ended the celebration with hot cocoa and some pastries in the classroom for the cold weather. They were so creative and did an amazing job building the piñatas! Please check out these fun pictures!
