Congratulations to our Math 24 Tournament competitors, Aubrey Arnone, Shivani Sharma, and Shane Lockwood. They did great representing Methacton and Arrowhead at the countywide tournament. We had two semi-finalist which is outstanding! Congrats to all the competitors!

There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. ® program.

1) To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.

2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.

WATCH D.O.G.S. ® (Dads Of Great Students) began in 1998 in a single school in Springdale, Arkansas and has since grown into a nationally recognized program that has brought hundreds of thousands of fathers and father figures into the school classrooms and hallways across the country, creating millions of hours of “in school” volunteer time and having a tremendously positive impact on the educational process.

Watch Dog Dads must have all the Methacton District required clearances. We can assist you in scheduling your special day as a Watch Dog Dad! On Friday, September 9, 2022, Governor Wolf announced a Universal Free Breakfast program for all Pennsylvania students to begin on October 1, 2022 through the end of the 2022-2023 school year. As a result, all Methacton School District students will have the option to receive breakfast each morning at no cost. Our building principals are working on a plan with Aramark to roll out this new program and will be providing additional information in the coming days. All the elementary schools will be operating on a five day (1,2,3,4,5) day cycle. The first day of school is day 1, the second day of school is day 2, etc. This will prevent students from missing certain classes that happen on certain days of the week. The link below will give you the days numbered for the entire year.

Exciting news from Arrowhead Spirit Wear! We are bring back another great way to show off your Arrowhead pride! Arrowhead Elementary car magnets are back and now available for purchase. As previously communicated we highly recommend that our students and families consider riding the bus due to the construction, parking, and traffic flow issues associated with new construction. However, we understand that this may not be possible for all students and families. As such, if your child/ren will be car riders for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year, please fill out the google document form.

All volunteers must have obtained their clearances to participate in any capacity at the school.

If your child is absent/tardy, please call the Child Check Line at 610-831-5331 and give your child’s name, grade, teacher’s name and a reason for the absence. Your child is considered “unexcused” until we receive that information. If we not receive a message from you, we will “attempt” to reach you.

How can I donate to the Backpack Program?

There are several ways you can contribute to the Backpack Program:

· Donations can be dropped off (Monday thru Friday) at the Methacton High School East Wing or Arcola Intermediate School. Collection bins are located near the entrance.
