Dear Riverview Families
This is a short week, there is no school on Thursday and Friday. Scroll down for meal resources and wether you are traveling or staying home this long weekend, we wish you a safe and relaxing break.
We need your help! We are seeing an increase in non school related items that students are bringing from home. Amongst those items we see: Phones in younger grades, toys, clothing, bags, jewelry, purses and pouches.
We at Riverview have a uniform, help your student wear their uniform and remind them to leave ALL non-school related items at home. If your student brings these items to school, they become a big distraction in class, they have also gotten lost or damaged and is causing distress in the students, I have been collecting toys that are causing issues in the classroom. Remember that Riverview is not responsible for these items, and I cannot keep track of all the toys I am collecting. Please help us by checking your student backpacks and remember that if I collect an electronic device you are responsible for picking it up.
NEW* Specialists Newsletters (Science, Phy Ed and Music)

Cold Weather Guidelines ⛈️
Families are encouraged to monitor their children’s clothing selections to make sure they are appropriately dressed for cold weather. Our students have daily recess except in extreme weather conditions such as rain or severe cold/wind chill. Students will have indoor recess on any day with a wind chill or actual temperature that is below zero. As weather changes, sweaters and layers are needed! Please consider these factors related to weather as you and your child make decisions for winter clothing. Students must have a WARM coat, hat, and mittens/gloves for outdoor recess. Visit Saint Paul Public School Weather page for more information. To prevent lost Clothing please Label students' names on clothing.
