ACMS Performing Arts
ACMS Choir Concert
Our End of Year Choir Concert is coming up on Monday, May 13, 2024!!
Some reminders as it is concert week.
We will be having a combined rehearsal during the school day in first hour on Friday, May 10, 2024 and second hour on Monday, May 13, 2024. I have emailed your teachers, but PLEASE be responsible and talk to them about what you will miss/need to make up. It is crucial we have the opportunity to rehearse as a full choir - both classes together - and the only way to do this is by communicating with your teachers.
Our spring concert will be taking place on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 7:00pm, in the Andover Central High School Auditorium!! This concert is free and open to the public, so please join us! We are excited to show you what we have been working on.
Some reminders on concert day:
Call for choir members: 6:30 pm, in the Andover Central HIGH SCHOOL Choir Room. It is here we will take-role, get in order and warm-up.
ACHS Auditorium doors open for audience: 6:30pm
Concert Start Time: 7:00pm
Uniform reminders:
ALL students are highly encouraged to wear the following for concerts, festivals and performances:
- Black close-toed dress shoes (No sandals or flip-flops please), black dress or black knee length to floor length skirt or black dress pants and a white blouse.
- Black dress shoes (No athletic shoes please), long black socks, black dress pants, white button-down shirt and tie.
- All hair needs to be pulled away from the face, so the audience can see our beautiful singers' faces
If your child does not have appropriate concert attire, please have them dress as nice as possible for the concert.
-----
We do not expect the concert to run longer than an hour. We like to keep our concerts short and sweet.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you all there.
A friendly reminder that 7th/8th grade choir members must stay for the entirety of the concert (including the 6th grade and jaguar choir portion).
Thank you as always for being a part/supporting your children and encouraging them in the arts!
