NES Eagle Update
Week #10 October 29th-November 3rd
Swimming Together in 2017-2018
Growth Mindset-"Courage is like a muscle. We strengthen it when we use it."--Ruth Gordon
REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK:
- Open Enrollment ends on October 30th. Have you updated your benefits for the 2018 year? REMEMBER, YOU CAN LOSE THEM IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE BENEFITS ENROLLMENT.
- On Fridays the rest of October, you may wear Breast Cancer Awareness shirts or Football team shirts for your favorite team!
- Please take the time to have your class vote for the Yearbook cover this year. It will only take a few minutes. PTA has only a few classes votes at this time.
- Please remember to mark students tardy when they arrive in class past 7:35 a.m. UNLESS they have a breakfast pass.
- Grade levels may begin turning in dates for planning for the 3rd nine weeks. Planning can take place anytime from December 4th through 14th.
Lunchroom Procedures REMINDERS
- Teachers, please remember to record the number of students from your class seated at the lunch table before you leave. If there is not a number recorded, students will not be allowed to go outside. The lunchroom and recess staff use the number on the folder to verify all students are accounted for in your class.
- All teachers need to go to the playground to pick up students. Please do not expect lunch recess staff to send students to you from the playground. The lunch recess monitors have many students to monitor and do not have the time to watch students walking to another location.
- Students may not stay for an extended recess beyond their lunch recess time during the lunch period. There are many students on the playground and this causes a safety issue.
