Eagle Preschool September News

What a great first two weeks of school! I loved seeing the smiling faces, excited parents and eager kiddos visiting their classroom for the first time! I know that every now and then, you may have a kiddo that is sad to see you go. This is normal and expected! Here are some tips to make that transition from home to school a little easier:

· Never bribe or negotiate a “deal” (“If you stop crying I’ll give you this…”)

· Speak positively and cheerfully

· Stay calm

· Acknowledge their feelings (“I know your sad, but you’re safe and will have lots of fun. I’ll see you soon.”) Never sneak out. A goodbye, even a tearful one, is very important.

Please remember to call our preschool front desk at 317-768-2508 to report an absence. A text or email to your teacher would be appreciated as well.

Late Drop-Off (9:15am or later): Please come straight to the preschool front desk to sign your child in. A teacher will meet you at the front desk to take your child to their classroom.

Early Dismissal: Please notify the school and/or teacher beforehand. When arriving

to pick up, come straight to the preschool front desk to sign your child out. A teacher will bring

your child to you at the front desk.

Fall Break is October 13th-15th. Mark your calendars, it will be here before you know it!

Thanksgiving Break is November 25th-26th.

Christmas Break is December 22nd-31st.

Please remember that your monthly tuition will be paid by automatic withdraw on the first Tuesday of each month. We will be placing a copy of the invoice in your child’s folder. This is not a bill, rather a copy for your records.

Please make sure you place your laminated curbside paper in your passenger side window so that your teacher can easily see it.
