Student Schedules
PLEASE NOTE: CHANGES IN SCHEDULES MAY STILL TAKE PLACE.
We hope you are continuing to enjoy the days of summer as we begin to start the countdown to the start of school.
Schedules are now viewable in PowerSchool on your student's account under Student Reports. Please know that if an originally selected class did not fit into a student's schedule, their school counselor replaced that class with one of the student's alternate choices.
If you have questions about your schedule, please reach out to your school counselor. They will get back to you, but they may not be checking messages until the last week in August.

PLEASE NOTE: CHANGES IN SCHEDULES MAY STILL TAKE PLACE THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER.
Welcome to Our New Associate Principal
Hello - my name is Sue Ennis and I am excited to be joining the FAMS team as the associate principal! Prior to joining the team, I was an associate principal and athletic director in the Waterford Graded School District. I have also taught 6th grade and was a school counselor in Wauwatosa Schools and began my career as a 7th grade teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools.
My spouse, Christopher, is a fire captain in Mukwonago where we live. My daughter, Olivia, is beginning her second year at UW-Whitewater, my son, Owen, is a senior in high school, and my step-daughter, Mia, is studying cosmetology in Georgia. In my free time I enjoy Zumba, reading, traveling, working at Alpine Valley, and spending time with my friends and family.
I am looking forward to working with students, staff, and families at FAMS - please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself! Have a great remainder of the summer!!

UPDATE - Backpack Use Change
Based on valuable feedback from our dedicated staff, we have made a decision regarding the use of backpacks in classrooms. Starting next school year, backpacks will no longer be allowed in classrooms, and students will be expected to use their lockers throughout the school day.
Since the pandemic, we allowed students to carry backpacks to ensure they had all necessary materials with them. While there have been benefits, such as easy access to Chromebooks and chargers and reduced hallway noise, several drawbacks have been identified. These include several safety issues, bulky backpacks causing tripping hazards in the classrooms, distractions from personal items like snacks and toys, and potential conflicts over belongings.
To address concerns about carrying Chromebooks, we will allow laptop sleeves as an option, but no laptop bags. You may choose to have one to help safely transport your Chromebook without the need for additional large bags.
By returning to locker use, we aim to create a safer and more organized learning environment. We understand that this change may require adjustments, and we are committed to supporting our students through this transition.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
2024-2025 Supply Lists
Please note that student schedules will be posted on PowerSchool the week before school begins. If they are posted sooner, I will send a message to you to notify you. Throughout the Spring and Summer months, our staff spend countless hours going through each individual student's schedule in order to create the best environment for all and balance all students specifically with each of their best interest in mind.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our main office.
7th and 8th Grade Girls Volleyball
If you plan on joining our FAMS volleyball team this year, please be sure to read through the athletic requirements (below). Since volleyball starts at the very beginning of the year, it is helpful to have these things completed this summer.
If you have questions, please reach out to Shelli Ellingson in our Main Office.
FAMS Athletics
All participants in FAMS athletics must register online at the fortathletics.com registration link (once per year, prior to the first sport of participation.)
Along with this registration, students need to have a physical exam with a completed exam form on file in our school’s main office. Physicals are good for two school years with an alternate year approval via the online form.
Finally, there are yearly school sport fees of: $50 for sport 1; $40 for sport 2 and $30 for sport 3.
All of these items must be complete before competition begins.

If you have not had the opportunity to check out our FAMS Pupil Services' website, please take a few minutes to do so. They have pages with community and mental health resources, and a student opportunities page that has some information about how students can get involved in their community.
