Character Counts! Family Connection
Each month we will post a video to watch as a family, discussion questions to discuss together, and a quick form to fill out to be entered into an eagle ticket raffle. Please consider completing the Character Counts Family Connection together!
HALLOWEEN
Halloween at Erickson will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31st. Families are invited to the outdoor Halloween parade at 1:30 for PM Preschool-5th grade students. Students will walk along the sidewalk in the front of the school. The AM Preschool-AM Kindergarten outdoor parade will be at 10:00.
REMINDER: Students are not able to go home and change into their costumes. Students should bring their costume to school to change into right before the parade. No weapons (swords, knives, guns, etc.) are allowed. Masks can be worn during the parade and party. PTO will be providing two snacks during the party. Due to allergies, parents do not need to send in any additional treats / halloween bags for classmates.
To make the end of the day run smoothly, with safety and accountability in mind, party volunteers are discouraged from taking home students at 3:00. All students will dismiss at 3:30. Thank you!
Dear Erickson Families,
Tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 25th is Early Dismissal 1:40. All full day students will dismiss at 1:40. Kindergarten PM will dismiss at 3:30, as usual. On Friday, students should wear their Pillar Shirts or colors for Eagle's Nest and Red Ribbon Week. There is also NO PRESCHOOL on Friday, October 25th.
Bus evacuation drills took place earlier this week. Classes met with bus drivers and learned about bus safety. They boarded buses and practiced bus safety while on the bus. The bus company praised Erickson students for being great listeners and well behaved during the class presentations. Thank you Eagles for being on your best behavior!
Thank you to the PTO and Puchalski Family for organizing Pumpkin Night! The weather was perfect and the moon was full. Great turnout and it was so nice to see so many families at Erickson!
