Math Olympiad Highlights
Dear CMIT Community,
We're delighted to announce the exceptional achievements of our Mathmagicians club students and Math Lovers who recently participated in the Math League Contest on March 19th and the Caribou International Math Contest on April 5th. Their dedication and hard work have yielded remarkable results, and we couldn't be prouder!
Here's a glimpse of their outstanding performances:
Let's take a moment to offer these students our heartfelt congratulations! Their dedication and hard work truly shine, and they deserve our recognition. When you see them, be sure to give them a high five and share some uplifting words to brighten their day.
Upcoming Contests:
- Math League Algebra-I Contest: Tuesday, April 23th, 9 am, Media Center
- All high school students are eligible to participate in this contest. The questions are set at the Algebra-1 level, ensuring accessibility to all. With a total of 30 questions to be tackled within a 30-minute timeframe, participants will face the challenge of not only solving the problems but also managing time effectively. Calculators are permitted to aid in problem-solving strategies.
- Caribou Contest: Wednesday, May 1st, 9 am, Media Center
- The next interactive question will be Towers Of Hanoi which can be practiced now on the Caribou Contest website on the games page. For some grade levels, it may be required to perform a minimal number of moves and/or to move the disks to a specific post. If you have any problems with the game, please let me know. It will become unavailable when the contest starts Wednesday morning in the very far East which is Tuesday afternoon for more western parts of the world.
- There is no history question.
Upcoming Mathmagicians Club Meeting Days:
