When picking up laptops, your child must have his/her student ID number and must wear a mask/face covering. Social Distancing will be enforced when entering the front porch area. Parking will be available in front of the school.

What's new in the Parent Portal? A calendar view to see student assignments in one place, including missing assignments, a drop-down menu to toggle between students if you have more than one child, online registration, customizable alerts, translation available in Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and French, and much more!! I have attached handouts in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. If you need to sign up for the portal, please contact Dr. Harris at june.harris@gcpsk12.org. A video will be coming out shortly to show you how to manuever the New Parent Portal.

Have you signed up for My Payments Plus? What are you waiting for? My Payments Plus is designed to be one stop shopping for parents. Parents can pay for their student meals, school fees, school activities, and uniforms online. Also, forms such as the Title I Plan/Promise are located on My Payments Plus. So parents, if you don't have a My Payments Plus account, please sign up today! See the My Payments Plus Account Video below for directions on creating an account.

Here are the basic school supplies your child will need for this school year: Notebook paper, (3) Subject Spiral Notebooks (College Rule), (2) 1 inch 3 ring binders, (5) Composition Books, Index Cards, Markers/Colored Pencils, Glue Sticks, Highlighters, Scissors, Pens/Pencils, Ruler, and Graph Paper for 7th/8th Graders

Wish List - Ream of Copy Paper, Kleenex, Lysol Wipes, Paper Towels, Post it Notes, Hand Sanitizer, Band aids

Your child's teacher may have additional items for his/her class. Be sure to watch for communication from your child's teacher.

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act includes a benefit called Pandemic-EBT(P-EBT) for children who received free or reduced price school meals in the 2019-2020 school year if their schools were closed due to the pandemic. Families will receive a one-time allotment of $256.00 in total P-EBT benefits per child. Families who are currently receiving SNAP do not need to apply for the benefits. SNAP recipients will receive a P_EBT benefit preloaded on their existing EBT card.

If you would like more information about the Pandemic-EBT benefits and would like to apply for these benefits, go to dfcs.georgia.gov and scroll down to apply. You have until September 25th to apply for these benefits.

In order for your child to received free and reduced lunch this year, you must complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Application. The USDA allows a thirty-day grace period for students who attended a Gwinnett County School and were on the program from the previous year. After 30 days, students who do not have a current application on file will be charged full price for meals.
