Dear Lake Louise Families,
The Back-to-School Bash was a huge success! Thanks to our outstanding PTA and volunteers, the community came together for a fantastic event. A special thanks to those who purchased extra duct tape to suspend me to the wall—it was a lifesaver! The Scholastic Book Fair continues online through October 1st. If you are still looking to make a purchase please use this link: Lake Louise Book Fair.
This past Wednesday we had our first fire drill with the Palatine Fire Department. Each year we hold three practice drills. District 15 is strongly committed to school safety. Our goal is to not only provide a safe environment but to also prepare our school community to know how to respond if/when a crisis arises.
This coming week we have our first schoolwide PBIS and Attendance Celebration. Students have earned a Noodle- Tag event. Each month we set goals as a school for attendance and behavior. Please see below for our attendance rate for the year to date. Students also earn tickets for following expectations both inside and outside of the classroom and will have the opportunity to purchase items from our Lion's Pride Cart.
I am so proud of our Lion's and the great start to the year our learning community has created together.
It's always a great day at The Lake!
