La Primaria December Parent News
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! 2024/2025
A Warm December Message from the Principal
Dear La Primaria Families,
As the holiday season approaches, I want to wish you all a joyful and relaxing winter break. This is a special time to connect with loved ones, create cherished memories, and enjoy the warmth of family and friends.
Three weeks away from school is a perfect opportunity to rest and recharge, but we know that being out of the school routine can sometimes lead to a little learning loss. To help prevent this, I encourage you to carve out a few moments each day to enjoy a book with your child. Reading together not only strengthens skills but also creates beautiful memories to treasure. 📚❤️
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Monday, January 6th, 2025 for an exciting new year of learning and growth. Until then, have a wonderful winter break filled with love, laughter, and plenty of cozy moments.
Warmest wishes,
Mrs. Hamilton
Principal, La Primaria Elementary School

Its getting Chilly Outdoors
Even though the temperatures have been mild, it can be pretty chilly for those early morning recess times. Please make sure your child brings a coat to school each day.
Also, please take the time to write your child's name on the sweaters, coats, and jacket labels.
Calling All Jacket Owners!!
Friendly Reminder: Check the Lost & Found!
Our Lost & Found red coat rack, located in front of the school, is overflowing with jackets, sweaters, and other items looking to be reunited with their owners! 🧥🧣
If your child is missing something, please take a moment to check the rack. Any unclaimed items will be packed up and donated after Friday, Dec. 13th. Please refrain from picking up items from the lost and found unless they belong to your child. This ensures all students have the opportunity to reclaim their lost belongings.
Let’s work together to bring these lost treasures back home before they find a new one! Thank you for your help.
Warm wishes,
La Primaria Cubs
